The range of activities of Stuttgart’s Studio Yonder is wide: founding partners Katja Knaus and Benedikt Bosch devote their energies in equal measure to upmarket country houses and inclusive residential building projects that bring together students, refugees, renters, and apartment owners in urban centers. In addition to their practical work, Knaus and Bosch also teach at the University of Stuttgart. Their architectural output thus becomes almost self-evidently a processual testing of the theoretical example of their teaching. The end result, ideally, is the creation of spaces that improve communal life. On January 26th, Katja Knaus and Benedikt Bosch will discuss their office’s work with David Kasparek (Editor of der architekt). The current issue of der architekt will also be presented.
