Kristien Ring, founder of the architectural gallery suitcasearchitecture, was commissioned November 2004 by the Association of German Architects BDA to revitalize and re-establish the German Center for Architecture DAZ with a new program and funding model. According to this new model, the director has been responsible for the concept, financial structure and implementation of the DAZ program. The DAZ is as independent initiative of the Association of German Architects BDA. The DAZ program budget is funded by cooperate partners, funding institutions and exhibitors.

Since its restart in 2005, the DAZ is working with a freelance team of curators, communication experts, architects and cultural managers. The following persons have been especially involved in the development and implementation of the DAZ porgram:
