DAZ Agenda 23. April 2008
+++ Cancelled! +++

8 short lectures in pecha kucha format to be followed by a discussion on
Visions for the Spree Area in Berlin

On wednesday, 23 April 2008, 6:30 - 8pm
at DAZ_Taut Saal, in German

On the riverbanks of Berlin’s inner city, between the Jannowitz and Elsen Bridges, are still over 180 hectares of unused sites and old empty factories waiting to be developed. The Spree Area in Berlin is an example for the potential the city has to offer for development in the inner city and for examples of the use of the waterfront. What will Berlin do with this area? And what chances, risks and challenges will the Architects, Investors and City Developers be confronted with?
SPREE VISION is a part of the discussion about city planning and development that is being presented in the current exhibition „Berlin-New York Dialogues".

The Speakers will be:

Regula Lüscher, Senate Director for City Planing in Berlin
Jochen Sandig, Radialsystem V
Daniela Konrad, Assistant Prof. TU Berlin
SPREE 2011, Ralph Steeg
Christian Schöning, Architect
Gerhard Spangenberg, Architect
Thomas Drill, Hoch Tief Berlin
Brigitte Holz, Architect & City Planner
