Cleverly and creatively planned, sustainable building dispenses with an excess of material and technology. The result? Innovative solutions – typological, constructive, and thermal.

Three of these creative ideas are currently on display at the DAZ:
orange architekten BDA presents “Simply Built”, a single-material and easy-to-dismantle façade construction. The Department of Design and Building at TU Darmstadt demonstrates how Energy Plus modular living can work for students, and the Office for Building Construction of the City of Karlsruhe shares the natural and alternative form of insulation it has found.

These and 150 other projects from the call for “Houston, we have a problem: Ecology and Responsibility” are available in an archive in the categories architecture and urban planning, society, energy, transport, and economy.
